And a bit of fun in the snow…

The ride back to the top for another hit of powder at Eldora. 20 inches of snow 35 minutes from home with a comped lift ticket to boot made for a good day - at least until I got on the trainer…

Smart?

A rocky mountain facial, courtesy of a west wind and 9000 feet of elevation.  20 seconds later I’d dropped my bike and was chasing my jacket through the snow until a pine tree held it for me.  Fun.

Merry Christmas!

From Cheynna and Rayme!

After a couple of great days on the slopes at Aspen with my sisters and dad we came back to Boulder for Christmas dinner at casa Rosello-Lopinto. I’d never been to Aspen before and if Boulder is a bubble Aspen is a hot air balloon WAY above the rest of us. From the photo-snapping papparazzi (mainly chasing us) to an airport nearly out of jet parking spaces…different. The people watching simply walking around town was second to none and the window shopping (thought they might take monopoly money, but…) was pretty incredible. A good but WAY overpriced dinner at the Montagne was a treat; truffles for the second time in a week didn’t hurt either. In the end however it was nice to get back home to the “real” world.

Merry Christmas/Happy Winter Solstice to all,

Will

Snowshoeing sanitas.  You can just barely see Charlottes’s head poking through the snow.  Talk about brutal - try snowshoe-running for a bit.  Youch.  A good day of vo2s on the trainer, snowshoeing and skating.

Back in the snow, a LOT of snow.
