Home!
Life September 18th, 2007And a new Velonews.com journal with a bit of Missouri wrap-up. It’s been a great 10 days and now I’m ready for a bit of rest and some serious work around the house. Still 1 race to go but I’ve got 3 weeks and a week right now to relax is way overdue.

Will,
After reading your blog for a while it was pretty cool to actually get to see you race. I was at both Stage 5 and 6. Can’t wait to see what you do next season.

Will, I really enjoyed your diary for Velo News. And the whole team was awesome during the Tour of MO. LOVED watching you race!! I’m so glad I was able to meet you and get your autograph in Downer’s Grove, much more low key!! I wasn’t at KC, during the TT we were at the finish, and in Columbia, and St Louis, couldn’t get to you. In Sfld, I was guarding a parking lot! But I did get The Pate’s autograph in Lebanon! And I wore my “I love Brad” shirt all week!

This is about your 9-17 Velo News entry. What is “CBF syndrome?” I’ve Googled it up and down, found one other sports reference to it in an Australian soccer club site, and about a dozen other uses from Christian Bible Fellowship to Canadian Broadcast French, but no explanation of its sports meaning. Can you help me out? Can anyone else? Post a reply here if you can. Thanks, yours in acronymic perplexity.

cbf syndrome = can’t be fu-ked syndrome. Rampant in the peloton during the late season.
